Navigating the 21st-Century Learning Environment


When we fully understand the changes and challenges employers and employees present, we must quickly decide on a different pathway forward that will allow us to continuously add value and gain new knowledge to manage newly discovered situations. This process will enable us to apply those new findings as we grow in knowledge and find new avenues for achievement. Identifying success in the 21st century is defined by how agile our response is to our critical situations and the process we engage in acquiring the solution. First, it is the individual's commitment to mastering the learning competencies; when completed, this process will qualify them to improve in that area of expertise continuously. Continuous engagement in learning those competencies it's what's going to allow that individual to grow as they seek more information. It will enable them to become curious and learn all about discovering what is possible while searching for a solution. Leadership supporting continuous growth and development today will require a focus on developing individuals' skills, leading others, and achieving individual and organizational results.
